Kick, Push || Annabelle & Blake

blake-cruz:

Blake had been spending Friday lazing around in bed, he hadn’t exactly agreed to go prom dress shopping with Annabelle and her mom, he hated shopping, he hated when his mom talked him into going with her to drive her around and carry her bags but Annabelle had somehow managed to talk him into going as well and he didn’t broke compromises so now he had to go. We woke up Saturday morning with his alarm sleeping in as much as possible and once he was up he took a shower to wash the sleepiness and laziness out of his body and got ready dressing in jeans a shirt and a jacket and when Anna sent him a text that she was on her way he walked outside and waited for her next to his bike, he loved his bike but tonight he would be going with Annabelle, he sat backwards on his bike laying down and watching the cloudy sky as he waited and he was almost falling asleep when he head knocing, he smirked as he saw her knocking on his door and slowly and quietly walked towards her “Hey!” he called out from behind her poking her sides. He smiled sheepishly at her “Hello Annastasia” he greeted “What are you doing here?” he asked pretending not to remember as he had gronw fond of teasing her with his memory ever since she had mentioned watching that show about a Qb who couldn’t remember things due to so many hits in the head and ended up killing himself, so far he felt good and his memory was great so he didn’t think that would be a problem for him yet but he loved teasing her regardless.

Annabelle screamed as Blake poked her sides, and spun around towards him. “Holy fucking shit, you scared me.” She pouted as he called her Annastasia, and hit his arm, not too gently either. It was all because of an episode of Law & Order: SVU that made her worried anytime he pretended to forget something, and it was actually kind of funny that he remembered all that she’d told him. “We’re going to the mall, shut up Blake. I even brought you breakfast waiting in my truck.” She looked over at his bike and started walking toward, forgetting until that moment that he had it in the first place. She brushed her hands over the surface, and laughed  nodding her head. “You really need to teach me how to ride this thing, I’d love you forever.” She loved anything that involved adrenaline rushes, because it calmed her nerves beyond anything else. And even though her mom was waiting for them, she couldn’t help but get distracted by other things that were way more interesting than shopping.

I really shouldn’t be up this early.

Kick, Push || Annabelle & Blake

Annabelle woke up Saturday morning almost happy that it was the weekend. Until she realized that she was laying on top of her phone that woke her up to remind her that today was the day to go prom dress shopping. Her mom had absolutely no rhyme or reason for why this was the plan for the day. She just wanted an excuse to get her in a dress. Which, she successfully did all the time and stuck Annabelle in front of a bunch of cameras for pictures. Annabelle didn’t even know when prom was, because all she cared about was graduation. But she couldn’t say no because her mom knew ways to guilt trip her into going shopping with her. When she’d finally started dressing nice, it had been all her mom’s doing. Annabelle still preferred comfort over style any day of the week. Which i why when she rolled out of bed, she brushed her teeth and picked out a sweatshirt. She’d taken a shower the night before so she just pulled that one with some jeans, knowing that’d it be in the upper forties which was way too cold for her. She’d probably be indoors all day though, considering that this mall trip may turn out to be an all day thing. She brushed her hair and texted Blake that she was on her way. Blake just happened to be talking to her at the right time, so she was going to drag him along as well. She needed someone to help her escape some of the craziness of her mom, and make the pain of shopping a bit more bearable. Annabelle hopped into her truck and headed over to his house. On the way she picked up breakfast sausage biscuits from Mcdonald’s with orange juice to feed him just like he’d wanted. She pulled up to his house a knocked rhythmically on the door, completely ignoring the doorbell. She leaned up against the door frame, ready to greet him with a hug and something corny like “Morning sunshine. The earth says hello.” to make him laugh.
